If you’re a homemaker or stay-at-home mom, you might want to find some ways to make a little extra money online. Survey sites are one of those ways.

You can join these sites for free, take ten to fifteen minute surveys, and get rewards for giving them your opinion about various products and services. It’s easy to do and you can log on any time, day or night, and complete a survey or several; it’s all up to you.

That’s definitely one of the things that make survey sites so appealing; you can do it your spare time. You don’t have a boss standing over you, demanding all your time. Also, you can work a few hours a day, a few hours a week, or if you have the time, as many hours as you want!

Another thing to love about participating in survey sites is that you don’t even have to drress up, or at all, if you don’t want to. A lot of us just fill out surveys while wearing our pajamas!

Survey sites are easy to find, easy to join, and it’s fairly easy to begin earning a few extra dollars to spend on a new pair of jeans or that purse you’ve been eyeing. What’s not so easy about them is figuring out which ones are legit and which ones are scams.

This is a review of the survey site called Opinion Router. Read on to find out whether it’s legit or not.

Is Opinion Router a real company?

I can see that Opinion Router is different right from the first glance at their homepage. It’s very simple, to say the least. There’s very little information, but it seems to still be enough to let you know what’s up.

It says you can ”take a survey and earn up to $1.00”, claiming to have multiple survey opportunities daily. While checking out their Terms of Service, I did find you have to be 18 (or age of consent if different in particular country) or older to join and only a valid PayPal email is required.

That’s it; that’s all they want from you. Only one membership per household. It’s also 100% free and doesn’t charge any kind of fees to transfer your rewards to PayPal.

Your opinion matters to many paid online survey sites. Don’t forget to check out our PointClub review, BigSpot review, and Univox review.

How to earn rewards with Opinion Router

In order to earn money on Opinion Router, after signing up with your PayPal account, you take surveys. If you qualify and finish a survey, you will receive your reward within 72 hours.

A disclaimer statement claims that you must fully qualify for the survey and complete it in full in order to get paid. There’s no guarantee that you will qualify. When you do qualify, you have a limits of three surveys a day; each has to be from a different survey router.

In their Terms of Service, OR claims to be a third party survey provider that does not control survey content and is not responsible for any technical problems once a survey is in progress. It’s suggested that if you do have an issue, to stop taking surveys immediately, check FAQs for any relate-able answers, and then email Customer Service.

That’s pretty much everything there is.

The main page is minimal with the following instructions: 1- Enter your PayPal Email, No registration needed; 2- Take a Survey, All countries allowed, 3- And Get Paid, Within 24-72 hours. There’s a box for entering your email and a button to click to start surveys.

In addition to that, there’s little more than their Disclaimer, which is at the bottom of this main page, Terms, and Privacy Policy, which both have their own pages.

The Privacy Policy is short and sweet, as are their Terms of Service, but they promise to not share, trade, or sell your email, which is the only information they have of yours, and they won’t sign you up for offers, mailings, etc using your email.

Is Opinion Router good or bad?

The only review I could find at all was just a part of a Q&A I happened to find. Someone asked if anyone had heard of Opinion Router and the responder said he had and had received a couple dollars in payment.

That’s as much information as I could find; this particular thread veered off onto another subject. I couldn’t find anything listed with the BBB, nor could I find any other review about this site. I believe this must be a pretty new site for there to be no reviews, NOTHING!

No complaints is a good thing, at least, but its weird not being able to find any comments or reviews at all.

Opinion Router actually sounds like a pretty good deal, although I am a bit suspicious at the lack of hoopla on the site’s pages as well as the lack of information regarding Opinion Router. Of course, you don’t have to register using a lot of your personal information; you only need a valid PayPal email.

Even though there is a maximum of surveys you can take daily, there is a potential for earning as much as $15-20 a week. That kind of money adds up fast.

Is Opinion Router a scam site?

Still unsure if this is legit paid survey site. If you have a second PayPal account that’s not used as much, I’d suggest using it to sign up with Opinion Router. Perhaps even make a new PayPal account, just to be on the safe side.

I’m not quite sure why I feel this way, but personally, I just wouldn’t be comfortable joining with my prominent PayPal account. Either way, this site is too easy to pass up, really. I’d suggest everyone to give it a try. It will take less time to figure out whether it’s going to pay up or not since payment is promised within 72 hours.

You will ante up a lot less time to find out if it’s a legit or not than with average survey sites which require a minimum payout amount. Try Opinion Router out and let us know how it works! Inquiring minds want to know!
