If you’re looking to make a little extra money from home, you might be interested in survey sites, such as One Opinion.

Survey sites usually ask that you participate in surveys by providing your opinions in exchange for payment or a reward of some kind. Some pay in cash, some offer gift cards, but they all offer something.

Survey sites are awesome because you can make extra money working whenever you want to, day or night. You get to be your own boss. On some survey sites you can earn hundreds of dollars if you have the patience and qualify to take sometimes lengthy surveys.

You can easily earn enough to treat yourself to a night out.

What’s more, is the sites are free to join. These sites have become very popular and, unfortunately, not all of them are legit.

This is a review of one of them, OneOpinion, to show rather this site is a scam or not.

Is OneOpinion a good company to join?

OneOpinion is a survey site that offers rewards for completing surveys. OneOpinion gathers consumer opinions, like yours, via surveys about various products and services.

It’s free to join, the websites content is easy to understand and easy to navigate. It has clearly marked sections which you can click on for information.

Their Terms and Conditions are fairly straight forward, as is their Privacy Policy. Neither hold any surprises. They are owned by a parent-company called Critical Mix, which is a marketing group, and is accredited by the BBB.

So far, so good.

How to earn rewards with OneOpinion

First, you have to sign up with your email address and verify it. Then, you have to answer a series of profile questions in order for OneOpinion to match you with prevalent surveys.

By participating in these surveys, you can earn points which can be traded for rewards. Once you amass 25,000 points, you can trade them for rewards, such as a $25 VISA card, which can be sent virtually via email if requested.

After you’ve traded in your points, you start all over.

The amount of surveys you take a day varies, as it depends on the profile information you provided. There may be some days in which there are no available surveys that you qualify for.

Some survey sites limit accounts to one per household, but OneOpinion allows multiple accounts as long as each person signs up separately.

There are more than one paid survey site to join today. You need to read our Points2Shop review, PrizeRebel review, and SendEarnings review.

Pros and Cons of OneOpinion membership

The site is free to join and the amount of household accounts is not limited. Users can earn points that can be traded in for virtual VISA cards worth $25 that can be used immediately.

Some surveys are for the equivalent of $1-$5, some are even worth as much as the equivalent of $15.

You may also have the opportunity to test products at home before they are even on the market.

In order to trade in the points you receive for completing surveys, you have to accumulate 25,000 first. That’s a LOT!

Also, a lot of the surveys are only worth a few hundred points, making it seem impossible to reach that goal reasonably.

In addition, you never know how many surveys you are going to qualify from day to day and you may go days without any.

Lastly, users complained about taking lengthy “pre-survey surveys”, or rather, qualifying questions for a specific survey, just to be disqualified for the points-earning survey.

Is OneOpinion website a scam?

OneOpinion is legit paid survey site, but you may not want to waste your time joining this site. I found way more complaints about them than I did compliments.

It seems they have recently went down on how many points they offer per survey. Combine that with the fact that qualifying surveys are not available for you on a daily, or almost daily basis, and it’s going to take you a lot of time and patience if you’re ever going to reach that trade in amount.

You would be better off trying another survey site that promises more available surveys and has a lower trade in or cash in amount. If you’re determined to try OneOpinion, you can, knowing that it is not a scam.
